Mislav Škacan is a Research Asistant and PhD student at the Department of Sociology at the University of Zadar. He began his research journey at the master's degree in sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zagreb, where he participated in research on veterans, i.e. veteran policies and organizational dynamics in Croatia. He is currently working on the SOCFISH project, which deals with the topics of fisheries, aquaculture and marine space and inequality. His primary interest is participation in research projects, and topics of interest include sustainable development, the relationship between society and nature, and development issues.
